3DVU Navi2Go: Introduction
Once you have activated Navi2Go, you will be asked if your device has an internal GPS device or not.
More on GPS settings is explained later.
Navi2Go has six key features, shown below.
With each feature, you will be asked to wait a moment while buffering is complete.
3DVU Navi2Go: Keypad Control
To change angles, zoom levels and speed, here are the controls for
Preview Route and Navigate to Address.
Here are the controls for Find Address,
Where am I and Flyover.
Mode A lets you zoom in and out as well as look up and down.
Mode B lets you increase and decrease your speed as well as jump to
next or previous waypoints. To change modes, press the center button.
3DVU Navi2Go: Settings
To change your GPS settings, go to the application Menu and choose Settings.
When you finish modifying Settings, press Save to keep the new settings and return to main menu.
When using an internal GPS, please make sure GPSID is selected.
When using external bluetooth GPS, please make sure Serial Port is selected.
See your bluetooth GPS manual for pairing instructions.
You can choose your route preference in application's settings:
- Fastest: the quickest way to your destination, not necessarily the shortest.
- Shortest: the shortest way to your destination, not necessarily the fastest.
- Easiest: less complicated route to your destination.
- Pedestrian: route to your destination by foot - ignores one-way streets and allows crossing parks.
3DVU Navi2Go: Errors
This error will appear when your GPS does not have reception.
Make sure you are outdoors or try to find another spot for a better signal.
This error will appear when GPS is not detected. Make sure that your GPS is turned on before using 'Where am I', 'Navigate to Address' and 'Search’.
3DVU Navi2Go: Find Address
Find Address presents your requested address over a 3D aerial landscape
with the ability to choose your perspective view. Select New...
to type in new address or choose from history list.
Type in the complete address you are looking for.
Make sure State is written in abbreviation. Press Ok to enter the address.
Once your requested address is displayed, you may change your perspective view
by zooming in or zooming out and looking up or looking down.
From Menu you can search for points of interest (not using your GPS).

3DVU Navi2Go: Preview Route
Preview Route shows you turn-by-turn directions of your requested route.
This feature is great for planning your trip. You can zoom in and out, look up or down,
jump waypoints and change the simulated travel speed.
Type your starting address (From) and requested destination (To).
Your history will automatically be saved for future use and can be cleared from within the menu.
Select Sample then Go for a predefined turn-by-turn route. Great demonstration of Preview Route.
From Menu you have two Search options (not using your GPS):
- Search for points of interest from your location on the route.
- Search along Route gives you points of interest along the requested previewed route.

3DVU Navi2Go: Navigate to Address
Navigate to Address gives you live turn-by-turn navigation using GPS to your requested address,
including voice guidance for your convenience.
From Menu you have two Search options (using your GPS):
- Search for points of interest from your location on the route.
- Search along Route gives you points of interest along the requested previewed route.

If you have strayed from the route, this screen will appear
with a green arrow directing you back to the route.
Select Menu and choose Re-route to get new directions from your position
back to your requested destination.
3DVU Navi2Go: Where am I
Locates and displays your GPS position over 3D aerial landscape.
From Menu you can search for points of interest (not using your GPS).

3DVU Navi2Go: Search
Search gives you points of interest by Name, Keyword or Category (predefined).
Wait a moment while your GPS locates your position and brings your requested Search results.
If your GPS is not turned on or detected go back to the main menu and select Find Address or Preview Route to enter a starting address or route you would like to search around.
If there are no results close to your position, this error will appear.
Below is an example of a search by Keyword.
From Find Address and Where am I:
Once you have defined your search request, this screen will appear giving you more navigating options:
- Details: Lets you see the address and other info.
- Show me: Shows you the address on 3D aerial with landscape, similar to Find Address.
- Take me there: Takes you from your position to the address of the selected item with turn-by-turn navigation.
Details gives you distance from and the exact address of the place you are searching and its telephone number if listed.
From Navigate to Address and Preview Route:
Once you have defined your search request, this screen will appear giving you more navigating options:
- Details: Lets you see the address and other info.
- Take me there: Gives you a route from your position to the requested point of interest (canceling the previous route you were navigating).
- Take me through: Adjusts your route to navigate through your requested point of interest.
When you select Through the Route you will receive stop over signs along the way:
